Terms of Use (End-User Licence Agreement)

Version 1.0 · Effective date: 26 October 2026 · Last updated: 26 October 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Tibrcode Software Development ("we", "us"), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for the minumeeting apps for Android and iOS, the web app at https://minumeeting.com and the optional minumeeting AI service (together, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, opening or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

Most important: before you record anyone, tell everyone present and get their consent. Recording people without their consent can be a crime, including in the United Arab Emirates (see section 4).

1. The Service

minumeeting records meetings and turns them into transcripts, summaries, action items, decisions and minutes. It works on your device by default. Optionally, you can use our AI service on Cloudflare ("Smart mode") or the AI provider of your own key ("My own key"). How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, and how the AI features work in the AI Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

2. Who can use minumeeting

You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter into a binding agreement, to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the Service on devices that you own or control, for your personal use or the internal purposes of your organisation, in line with these Terms. On iOS, your licence is also subject to section 15.

You must not, and must not help anyone else to:

Parts of the Service are open-source software or AI models licensed by others. Their licences are listed on the Licences page; nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licences.

4. Your content and your responsibilities

You own your content. Your recordings, transcripts, notes, glossary and everything the Service creates from them ("Your Content") belong to you or to those who gave you the rights. Your Content is stored on your device; we cannot see it unless you send it to us — through Smart mode, a report or an email. You allow us to process Your Content only as needed to provide what you ask for: to process it in Smart mode and return the result, and to review a report you send.

Consent of everyone recorded. You are solely responsible for informing every person you record and for obtaining their consent before you record, as required by the law that applies to you and to them, and for respecting any confidentiality obligations. Laws differ by country: some require the consent of everyone taking part. In the United Arab Emirates, eavesdropping on, recording or disclosing conversations without consent can be a criminal offence — for example under Article 44 of Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes, which provides for imprisonment and a fine of AED 150,000 to AED 500,000, and under the privacy provisions of the Crimes and Penalties Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021). Never use the Service for covert recording or surveillance, or to record in places or situations where recording is not allowed.

Personal data of others. Your meetings contain personal data of other people. If you use the Service at work or for an organisation, you or your organisation may be the "controller" of that data under data-protection law and responsible for giving the required notices and having a legal basis — including when you choose to send meeting text to Smart mode or to your own AI provider. Create a voiceprint of a person only with that person's consent: in some places a voice profile is biometric data.

Your device and backups. Keep your device and your backup files secure. Anyone with access to your unlocked device or to a backup file can read your meetings.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service:

We may suspend access to Smart mode for anyone who breaks this section.

6. AI features and their limits

7. Your own API key

If you use My own key, you have your own agreement with that provider. You are responsible for your account with the provider, for complying with its terms and usage policies, for the costs it charges you and for keeping your key secret. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for the provider's service, availability, charges or handling of your data. Your key is stored on your device and we never receive it.

8. Services of others

The Service relies on services of others — for example Cloudflare, the app stores, your own AI provider, your browser's speech service and the apps you share files to. Their terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Backups and loss of data

Your Content is stored only on your device, and we keep no copy. You are responsible for making and keeping backups (Settings → Data & Privacy → Export a backup of all data). Deleting the app, clearing its data, losing or resetting your device, or the browser clearing site data can permanently delete Your Content. Meetings are not included in iCloud or Google cloud backups of your device. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the loss of Your Content.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, logo and name "minumeeting" belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law, except for the open-source components and models listed on the Licences page. These Terms give you no right to use our name or logo. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.

11. Price

The Service is currently free of charge and has no in-app purchases. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance and you can decide whether to buy them. Costs charged by your own AI provider or your mobile network operator are yours.

12. Changes to the Service

We may update, change, add or remove features, and may require you to install an update to keep using some features. We may stop providing the Service. Because your meetings stay on your device, you can always export them first.

13. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty — express or implied — of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, quality or non-infringement, or that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be excluded by agreement.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

15. Additional terms for iOS (Apple)

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store:

  1. Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  2. Scope of licence. Your licence is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  3. Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
  4. Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.
  5. Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
  6. Intellectual property rights. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  7. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Developer name and address. Questions, complaints or claims about the app: Tibrcode Software Development, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, support@tibrcode.com.
  9. Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app, for example your wireless data service agreement.
  10. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

16. Google Play

If you obtained the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your use of Google Play. Google is not responsible for the app.

17. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete it with your data (see Delete your data). We may suspend or end your access to Smart mode if you break these Terms or if it is needed to protect the Service or others. When these Terms end, your licence ends; the sections that by their nature should continue — including sections 4, 9, 10, 13, 14, 18 and 19 — continue.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Before starting any proceedings, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter amicably within 30 days. The courts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and any right you have to bring proceedings there.
